Welcome to Lume LA Events, a full-service boutique event design and production company based in Los Angeles, California, with a focus on creative experiences for modern couples, brands, and families.
By booking our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking or purchase.
Terms & Conditions
Services Overview
Lume LA Events offers:

Full-service event design, styling, and production
-
Vendor management and coordination
-
Custom menu curation and mocktail design
-
Visual and spatial styling concepts
-
Music curation and entertainment guidance
Specific deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities are detailed in individual service proposals or contracts provided at the time of booking.
Booking & Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit (typically 30–50%) is required to secure your event date.

Remaining balances are due as outlined in your proposal (usually 14 days before the event).

Payments may be made via credit card, ACH, or other approved methods.

Late payments may incur a 5% monthly service charge.

Events are not confirmed until the deposit and signed agreement are received.
Cancellations & Refunds -
Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, as they cover pre-event planning and time reserved.

Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event may be eligible for partial refunds of remaining balances at our discretion.

Cancellations within 60 days of the event forfeit all payments made.
In the unlikely event that Lume LA must cancel services (e.g., emergency or force majeure), we will refund all payments except for work already completed.
Event Postponements & Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a date change, subject to availability.
A rescheduling fee may apply depending on venue, vendor, and staffing commitments.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

Provide timely communication and approvals to meet planning deadlines.

Secure required permits, venue permissions, and insurance when applicable.

Ensure guest and vendor compliance with venue rules and safety guidelines.

Refrain from directing staff or subcontractors outside the agreed scope.

Accept full responsibility for property damage, guest misconduct, or non-compliance caused by you or your invitees.
Lume LA Responsibilities
We agree to:

Provide services with professionalism, creativity, and due care.

Maintain open communication and transparent pricing.
-
Ensure that all vendors and contractors we recommend or hire are reputable and insured.

Protect the confidentiality of all private event details and client data.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control (including natural disasters, illness, government restrictions, or pandemics).
If such events occur, Lume LA will work with you in good faith to reschedule or apply credits toward a future date.
